We are seeking a Marketing Manager within Cardiovascular, Renal & Metabolism (CVRM) to our team in Finland (at our office in Espoo) on a 12-month fixed-term contract as a parental leave replacement.This is a great opportunity to further develop your expertise and advance your career!

What you will do

This is an exciting opportunity where you will have the possibility to shape your success, your development and drive the business. You will be involved in our current and future product portfolio, being responsible for the brand, the strategy and the activities to impact patients´ lives.

The role requires persistency, great project management and negotiation skills. You will have responsibility for local marketing and promotional brand activities including planning and preparation.

As a Marketing Manager, you will build on deep customer and patient insights within your assigned brand(s) to ensure a patient centric approach. Based on this knowledge, you develop and execute brand strategy plans, in strong collaboration with the cross-functional team.

In this role you will be responsible for local marketing and promotional brand activities including launch planning and preparation as well as having responsibility for patient organization and regional stakeholder relationship management. You will work with the omnichannel activities and tactics nationally to support implementation of the brand strategy.

You will contribute to cross-functional Franchise Team work by providing input to franchise and brand strategy development as well as long-term planning.

Work in close collaboration with another CVRM Brand Manager and the whole cross-functional team.

Key tasks of the role include, but not limited to:

  • Develop and localize campaigns and materials, applying global assets and strategies into the Finnish market. Handle the local production materials and ensure local sign-off of all materials.

  • Work in close co-operation with cross-functional colleagues to reach business objectives.

  • Develop ideas in co-operation with customers and drive customer facing projects that make valuable contributions to patient care and improve treatment pathways.

  • Responsible for training sales team on marketing strategy and materials.

  • Develops and implements customer facing initiatives with collaborators that add-value to patient care and improve treatment pathways.

  • Ensure tasks are of accurate quality and in accordance with written procedures and current legal requirements as well as internal standards.     

Essential for the role

  • Proven pharma marketing experience with good knowledge in market ethical rules. Prior therapy area experience preferred.

  • A strong sense for planning, structure, prioritization and execution.

  • Suggest new ways of working, as the “new normal” has further increased our ambition to be a leading & innovative partner to health care.

  • Good strategic, analytical and project management skills with experience of building strong strategic- & tactical plans.

  • Proven experience with different marketing and digital channels (omnichannel).

  • Excellent collaboration & teamwork capabilities and communication & negotiation skills.

  • A strong patient-centric mentality with a sense for commercial innovation.

  • Fluent in Finnish and English language.

  • Master´s Degree (desired) or equivalent, e.g. in Marketing.
